This hike was slightly easier than expected based on some of the descriptions I had read, but it definitely still qualifies as a hike rather than a walk and had two amazing views. (more…)

Dripping Rock is one of my favorite easy hikes. It consists of a segment of the Appalachian Trail that ends at a ridge with a excellent view. The trip up has some steep sections where some stairs have been set up, but is otherwise an easy climb. At the top, the old trail required a rock clamber, but you can now walk around the cliff face and come up from behind without any climbing. (more…)
