After updating to Windows 8 and installing the 606 series nVidia drivers on Dell’s website, I found that using my Targus SuperSpeed docking station the external screens would not work and the laptop screen would “flicker” as if the others were rapidly disconnecting and reconnecting.
Upgrading to the latest 610 series nVidia driver did not resolve the problem but installing a beta 604 series driver (the oldest supported on Windows 8) fixed it.
As much as I dislike using old beta drivers on my main computer, this seems to be the only solution until Displaylink releases an update to resolve the problem.
